The Merry-Go-Round - From a Sandwich's Perspective
Okay, did anyone else catch this:
Jim Adamson, former Gap, B. Dalton, Rite Aid and Burger King exec was the guy who deserves the credit for making the tough decisions that saved K-Mart's bacon - no doubt about it. After coming out of bankruptcy K-Mart combined with Sears, the new team took over and Jim picked up his check with many zeros and left - the deal was done.
Okay, page 2: Aylwin Lewis was (as in past tense) the Sears Holdings boss who didn't make it happen with the Sears-KMart-Sears thing. Being a wise man, he took the first exit and now, after a few months or unplanned R&R, he's been named CEO of Potbelly Sandwich Works.
So, our questions of the day is... white or wheat, mayo or mustard?
And that's that.
